For this production, I spent 12 hour shifts operating GoPro and Sony cameras, lights, Shogun recording decks, lav mics and master audio controls overnight, as we rolled 24/7. While doing this, I took timecoded notes on the behavior of our contestant to aid post production team in finding viable content. I contributed to creative decision making and narrative development of the video, prompting our contestant for various types of content and ensuring cohesive story telling throughout.
This was the largest scale production ever undertaken for the Mr. Beast. Gaming Channel, utilizing a detailed set that 4 contestants resided in for 15 days. Their mission? Survive a thousand days (1 day = 20 real life minutes) in hardcore Minecraft. Along the way, they had to complete increasingly difficult challenges every 100 days. The winner(s) take home $100,000.
